Based in New York City and Atlanta, their work spans documentary, campaign, and branded storytelling, with a focus on character-driven stories that bring audiences into the emotional core of a moment. Whether working with movements, organizations, or creative collaborators, Nolan approaches each project with a strong visual style and a commitment to authentic, human storytelling.
With over a decade of experience across directing, cinematography, and post-production, Nolan works across every stage of production—from development and scripting to shooting and edit—bringing both creative vision and technical execution to each project.
Most recently, they served as Head of Video News at the Atlanta Community Press Collective, where they led video strategy and developed new approaches to cinematic, immersive journalism.
They are currently co-directing A City in the Forest, a feature documentary premiering in 2026.
